AeroAfroAstro (AAA) aims to support and increase the number of Black aerospace engineers who excel academically and professionally. The club's mission is to provide academic and professional development and mentorship to Black AE students, access to undergraduate and graduate aerospace research opportunities, and access to internship and co-op opportunities.
American Institute of Aeronautics & Astronautics
Georgia Tech’s student chapter of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) serves as a connection to the national aerospace professional organization.
Georgia Tech Motorsports
As one of the oldest competition teams on campus, GT Motorsports’ goal is to provide students with the opportunity to utilize their existing theoretical knowledge and acquire practical experience in real-life situations by designing, building, and testing open-wheeled, F1-style race cars in preparation for Formula SAE competition (FSAE).
GT Off-Road Club
Georgia Tech Off-Road is a student-led team founded in 1998 that participates in annual Baja SAE competitions.
Ramblin' Rocket Club
The Ramblin’ Rocket Club (NAR Section 701 - GTRC) is one of the biggest student-led organizations in Georgia Tech’s School of Aerospace Engineering.
School of Aerospace Engineering Student Advisory Council (SAESAC)
SAESAC is a group of Georgia Tech Aerospace Engineering School students who are dedicated to bridging gaps between students and the AE administration by providing an open and safe means of expressing opinions and suggesting changes for the AE School's future operation.
Sigma Gamma Tau
Sigma Gamma Tau is the honor society for Aerospace Engineering. It seeks to identify and recognize achievement and excellence in the Aerospace field.
Students for the Exploration & Development of Space (SEDS)
SEDS is a chapter of SEDS-USA, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering young people to participate in space exploration. Our goal is to unite an interdisciplinary community of space enthusiasts at Georgia Tech, providing our members the tools they need to connect to the global space community, become involved with the NewSpace industry, and discuss the pressing issues in space today.
Vertical Flight Society (VFS)
With a strong rotorcraft and vertical lift tradition, Georgia Tech is one of the three Vertical Lift Research Center of Excellence, and is proud to offer a lot of opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to get involved with vertical lift.
Women of Aeronautics and Astronautics (WoAA)
Established during the 2018-19 academic year, the Women of Aeronautics and Astronautics (WoAA) chapter at Georgia Tech is a newly formed committee under the Outreach Division of Georgia Tech's AIAA Chapter.

YJFC has been around since 1946, making itthe nation's oldest, continuously-running, collegiate flying club! Yellow Jacket Space Program (YJSP)
The Yellow Jacket Space Program (YJSP) is a student organization at Georgia Tech working hard to develop liquid-propellant rocket systems. Our mission is to design, construct, and fly a liquid-fueled rocket to the Karman Line, the official edge of space 100 km above the Earth.
Yang Aero Maker Space
it's a place where students and faculty can use a variety of equipment to build prototypes that advance their research - and their curiosity. Students can work as mentors and/or visit the AMS to work on their latest designs.
